What happens if you install CS3, and the machine already has CS2 installed ? Can they both run seperate to each other, or does CS3 replace CS2. I'm happy with CS2 but I hear good things about CS3 so am semi interested in checking it out.

CS and CS2 can be installed at the same time and used same time, I don't have CS3, but I believe it can be done... Only thing will change I think will be the file associations, when you open up PDS files or other photoshop formats...

Craig, at one time I was running
PS v7, CS & CS2 (I wasn't necessarily using them all concurrently, but I could, particularly when I had difficulty opening NEF in CS).
Cheers

Short answer is yes Craig I have both installed on my PC desktop, however with the inclusion of some of my add-on filters my preview in Beidge CS3 doesn't seem to be working. Process of illimination ahead of me i suppose
All things aside yes they work side by side just make sure you make your scartch disk on a drive with a hair bit of room.
cheers

Yah same here.
The only problem is some 3rd party filters will not work.

Ditto.
And the 3rd party filters should work, but they of course won't handle smart filter
mode.
