Firefox browsing problems

When using Firefox Version 2.0.0.4 within DSLRusers I get the following message -

Your ip address has been blocked for this session as it appears to be masked. -4 -6 -20.138.1.245
2614

Does anyone know what this means. This is when I connect through work but when using same version of Firefox at home it works fine.

Thanks

Send a PM to Gary (gstark) with the above information :) He'll sort you out :P

its some security issue

send gary a pm and he will add you to a member group that avoids this type of protection

one thing you need to keep in mind is that you always need to sign in first before doing any browsing of the forum. if your not signed in, it wont see that you are part of a member group that allows the firefox browser.

It's because your work runs through a proxy, which we try to deny, because many spammers also try to go through proxies to disguise where they're coming from.

I can see from what you've posted that you were, in fact, logged in. I'll add you to our proxy group momentarily, which, when you're logged in, bypasses the code that threw you out. Please make sure that you log in from the front page, and that you check the keep me logged in box.

Cheers.
