Colour correct jpeg

hi people

anyone know of a free program or cs2 proceddure to correct white balance
on a JPEG image

left shot was a mistake 6500Kelvin want to colour correct to 3100kelvin

the only imaging tools i use are raw shooter essentials 2006 and photoshop cs2

any help would be appreciated

I don't know if CS2 gives you the option but in CS3 you can Open As, elect the JPEG and open it as a camera raw which then gives you the ability to use the ACR to do any manipulation.

Although it doesn't allow a specific Kelvin selection :(

Hi Wendell,

Depending on the image, sometimes using curves on 'b' channel (LAB mode) gives the desired result. "B" channel is the blue/yellow channel and sometimes I have used it as alternative to WB correction. Convert your image to LAB mode and go to 'curves' then play with the b channel.
