Where to buy Epson R2880?

Hi,

I've finally decided to take the plunge and get a printer and have decided on the Epson R2880.

I'm looking for recommendations of the best place to buy this printer. I doubt that anyone will stock them in Hobart so it will need to be ordered in. Where would be the best place (best price) to buy this on the mainland?

hi john, these guys are just at the end of the pier after the boat ride, they are well versed in color and printing, Mike knows his stuff.

AusMedia (in Box Hill) are always worth a look. They do mail-order, and I've bought printers through them (and buy all my ink through them too).

$1200 for the R2880.

I walked the streets this morning and picked up a 2880 locally for $1200 down from $1499 rrp, so it sounds like people are prepared to do deals. I'm actually quite suprised with the dollar the way it is going.
