Who has CPU warranty for there D70 in this forum

Who has CPU warranty for there D70 in this forum

Postby Catcha on Wed Mar 02, 2005 1:51 am

Ok everyone here seems to be recommending CPU Australia in the post that i have read.

Questions

Has anyone made or need to make a claim for there camera ?

How was the service and process and how would you rate it ?

I haven't had time a chance to read the fine print on the conditions, is there any hidden or wording that set in the conditions to decive or does not really cover what its suppose to cover, that they can wiggle there way out of a claim?

cheers

Ben

I believe CPU Australia send it to Maxwell for all fixes, they just pick up the tab (and you pay a small premium at purchase for this assurance).

After the first year warranty direct to Maxwell from yourself, the second or 3rd or 4th will be honour by CPU and then again, you have to ship it to Maxwell or their agent at your local, and CPU will take care of the tab.
Please carefully read the fine prints of its conditional first prior to engage it.
