SB800 daylight fill flash - to diffuse or not

SB800 daylight fill flash - to diffuse or not

Postby samester on Tue May 17, 2005 7:04 pm

just wondering what everyone recommends for daylight fill photography with the SB800.

specifilcally, if outdoors with plenty of sunlight and no walls or surfaces to bounce off in sight.

diffused, bounce card, undiffused ?

thanks

Thanks for the reply mate.

Is there much of a difference between the LSII and the diffuser that comes with the SB800 ?

I take it the flip down diffuser on the SB800 is bogus ??

The short answer (from my brief testing) would seem to be yes. The light seems to be more diffuse and softer from the LSII, but I still need to do more testing.
