Sorry guys, was going to reply to some questions in the Computers thread but it wont' allow me. I need to become a member?

My job is high level technical support so I figured I could help some people there.

Ahh, yeah sorry, I'm adjusting to how these forums are setup. I hadn't paid much attention to that list before  .

I guess I'm just anxious to assist.

Thanks mate :)

No problem. One other thing. Probably 90% of us are in Australia so it might be an idea to put where in Australia you are in your profile, rather than just saying Australia. That helps us when we make suggestions about places to go and stuff like that. eg if you're in Sydney it would be good for you (and your partner) to make it to a mini meet one Saturday - not much good if you live in Perth though

Certainly, in terms of location, "Australia" is about as helpful as "mars", and in terms of being able to post to the computers section, I wouldn't permit qualification because location is a requirement, and that's being obstructive, rather than helpful.
