Silly question but what exactly does this do? Do you loose any field of view when looking through your viewfinder?

How much magnification does it apply?

Thanks!

Gives you a magnified view through the viewfinder of 1.5x. Can’t be used on a D70 but is useful with the D2X and D2H(s) or F5. You can view all data in viewfinder if you push down on the rubber eyecup.

It's a new stock item from Nikon, very useful with the F5, F6, D2H/Hs/X

I have them on my D2 series, its viewfinder is magnificient with it.

Recommended to all D2 users

B&H has no stock, Maxwell is 3 months in back-order

No supply or low supply but I have them, stock is not healthy

the more I look online the better it sounds, closer to a full image as like an F5

Wow! If you don't have it and see it, you won't believe my words, I have replaced the standard viewfinder of the D2x with the DK-17M, it's brighter, larger, and far more better than the viewfinder on the F5.
My "F5 Dslr" is back.

Well I need to get one then! Now all I have to do is get it before leaving town for my holiday and I'll be set. Do you still have in stock?

Birddy, after Dingo, can you put me down for one? Not predicting anything, but one wouldn't want to have a small viewfinder if a big one was available

Yes, I can have it for you and pretend you're looking thru the viewfinder of the "F5 DSLR".
You have to come to the mini meet next week and try it on my D2x, then Wow!
