Hi Everyone, I am new here; my apologies if this question was placed into the wrong spot.
I have a large number of pictures I would like to write as a slideshow to CD/DVD but not sure what software is the best for doing the job. Photo2DVD Studio from Wondershare Software is the most recommended by Google but does anyone know better products for Windows XP and can share personal experience?

Falko - welcome to the forum.
As Greg said ProShow Gold is the one. If you do a search here you'll find plenty of discussion on it. For starters try

Falko - I have been using Pro Show Gold now for a few months and have successfully put together (and sold) several DVD's to clients - they love them!
Hope this helps.

Sorry to get in a bit late on this but Windows Moviemaker that comes free with XP does a pretty good job of this.
The transitions and effects are designed for video but seem to work well with the higher quality images.
Is very flexible in terms of adding music, time frames and effects if you want to add them.
