PS and terminology

Hi,

I asked somewhere else (can't find where) what does DOF stand for ?

Also, I have read there are "actions" for Photoshop to create frames.

I was wondering I've notice a few people putting copyright and EXIF data in their frames, can the action automatically extract that EXIF data and insert it into the frame ? Or are people manually typing these in... I assume it's automatically done, right ?

Thanks!
Craig

.......DOF.....depth of field......the amount of an image that is in focus before and after your point of focus, is the short answer, The more you stop a lens down, the more that is in focus. A lens wide open will give you little or no DOF, and shooting at F16 will give you a lot. More info on the web

you will find frames in the action pallete.....

Hi Alpha
I believe there are a couple of actions floating about that can automatically extract the EXIF info and paste it onto your frame, however I have never found them very appealing.

Me personally, I prefer to manually add these to the image (but I'm far too anal  ) and don't mind spending hours in front of the PC doing PP - I really need to stop admitting that !

Have a look at http://www.atncentral.com/ where you will find a plethora of actions for Photoshop :)
