New Tutorial online, plus ...

Postby gstark on Thu Mar 16, 2006 8:47 am

Killakoala has kindly prepared a tutorial on Crop Factors for us.

You can find it here.

Many thanx, Steve. We appreciate the work you've put into this.

Also, we've started planning for the second AW, coming up in August this year. We have a few ideas in train that we're currently exploring, and y'all need to keep the weekend of August 4 - 6 free for this.

If you're not lucky enough to live in Sydney but are wanting to come, please let us know ASAP, because we're going to be wamting to keep the numbers down to keep it all manageable.

Stay tooned!

Sooooo.....

What's an AW then? Damn search doesn't like searching for keywords that short!

I was hoping someone would pipe up and ask first, saving me from looking like an ignorant buffoon! But sadly, it appears that if you want something done right.. or at all... do it yourself :)

Good work Steve!
I guess though, it's only a crop if you compare it against another format, like 35mm. For those who have never shot film then the term is probably meaningless. In that sense there is no crop. Hmmm Now I'm confused.

:D :D

El Regardos!

Thanks for the article Steve - it clearly and concisely explains the concept.
