see a few things happening here. First of all, last week Leigh and I had a meeting with some people from Canon, along with their PR people. This was a very productive hour or so, and we are hoping that it will lead to some interesting stuff for all of us for the future. Following that meeting, we've been given .... Some toys .... Some promises ... On the promises front, those promises basically lead to toys in various guises ... for instance products for review. This applies to both the Gadget Grill radio show, as well as here, plus Leigh's work at the Gadget Guy. I'm expecting a MkIV in the not to distant future, and we were given a couple of other cameras for review, and we'll have more to say about that in the next few days. Expanding upon the toys angle, we've also been given some product to deploy as prizes, and in in this vein, we shall be announcing details of a challenge in the next few days. The prize is something different and rather special: exclusive, and not available in the retail channel. And no, it's not photographic based either. Also in April we'll be having a 2x2 meet in Sydney ... and maybe a couple of other things as well. Peter will be announcing details of the 2x2 in a day or so ... so let's all get our cameras out and enjoy this autumn's photographic opportunities

Somewhat incompatible with that activity, too. It's a special commemorative version of a somewhat common item, made by Canon, but looks about as subtle as a Ferrari. I actually wouldn't mind keeping one of these for myself ...

God no. Anyone who is classified as a member - see the FAQ. Canon, Pentax, Nikon ... you'll just need to send a photo to an email address, so from anywhere that has internet access.

I wish .... thanks for reminding me of that. I should ask Canon to see if they can supply me with a couple.
