AW is fast approaching

August 3, 4 and 5 is the AW this year, and we have the first of our AW events on the calendar. There will be a presentation dinner, photoshoots, and photomeets, and goodies all round.

Please keep this weekend noted in your diaries, and we welcome visitors from interstate. I know we already have several people who are planning on coming here for this event, so if you have an idea that you might want to spend a weekend in Sydney ... fares are cheap, and can we do some special accommodation deals for you!

Fantastic effort on the Autumn Chimp to Leigh and all those involved.

It's a good read and looks great. :)

I'm having difficulty downloading because the file is named "summer" instead of "autumn" and you can't change it for download.
Because the previous edition is also called "summer' (correctly) it would be overwritten if I chose to download the new file.
Could you have a look at this please?
I'm sure it will be really great when I get to read it! :D

Edit: User error!
Tried to download without using the emailed link. Of course, if you click on the link in the email - no problems. :)
Sorry for crying wolf.

Excellent Issue - a great read. Thanks to all the people putting in so much hard work to make it happen.

And... what.... only 3 or so months to wait until the Winter 2007 issue? (#sigh#)!

Two-ish actually. I may have been late with the last issue, but it doesn't mean I can let the schedule slide.

I've also started planning the issue after that.

Can we do something about making the challenges easier to find? I saw that the results had been announced so I thought, cool, I'll check out the gallery...but where's the link? So I went to the challenges forum and there hasn't been anything posted in there since challenge 12... Eventually stumbled across a post by MHD and clicked the link in his signature.

It would be good to have all the challenge related stuff in one place (such as the challenges forum :D ), with a sticky at the top of that forum with links to the galleries. The other stickies at the top of that forum could be culled now as well, since most are old.
Cheers,

macka
