Peas on Earth

Postby gstark on Wed Dec 24, 2008 8:12 pm

And good wheels to all men.

Hey, it's Christmas again; can you believe how quickly the year has gone by?

As we enter this season of joy and feasting, I wish each and every one of you all of the best for a happy and healthy holiday, and I hope that Santa manages to squeeze himself down your chimney, bringing with him goodies to sate your innermost desires.

Please keep yourself safe, and let's all look forward to sharing and enjoying another great year together in this forum, as well as beyond the forum, in all of your endeavours.

And likewise to you Gary, Leigh, and every participating member on this forum.
May 2009 be a peaceful, healthy, successful and memorable year for all.

We have loads to be grateful for living in such a fantastic part of the world (Australia) and the irony is (speaking on behalf of myself only) I don't think 'we' really think about that too much. There's soo much evil, war, poverty and terror out there, and whilst there are the threats of these issues in our everyday lives, we don't walk out our door to bombs going off, cars blowing up, or people being shot down...Most of us can come home to a roof over our heads, and a meal, shower/bath and a bed...many millions of people around the globe don't have that 'luxury'...we ARE lucky...

Merry Christmas ppls. Enjoy!!

Not if you ignore all the drive-by shootings, ATM blasts, car-jackings, knifings and riots at bars, of course. :)
