Can anyone tell me what I put myself down for?
So far here's my schedule as I know it..
Friday:
7:30 arrive, picked up by Birddy
12:00ish Check in at Formule1
1:00ish Lunch with friend in city
Later: Dinner
Saturday:
Too Early; Wake up so Nicole and possibly kipper have somewhere to store their bags before they can check in.
Later: I have no idea.
Even Later: During dinner be awarded a D70s for my as yet uncommented-on winning image in Comp5
Sunday:
Wake up with D70s in bed beside me..
Later: Zoo with Nicole and probably Mudder and probably Kipper and whomever else can be dragged in I'm guessing..
9:15pm; Fly back to melbourne.

Not a damn thing.
Apart from meals, of course.
Sounds to me as if your stated schedule is spot on! Except for winning the D70s though, most likely.
In all seriousness, I recieved a PM from you in early June, after I posted the first list, where you told me that you should be on the list for both nights. That's it!
Please let me know what you're wanting to do - by email to the correct address - and we'll take it from there.

Gary, yes we're on same Virgin Blue flight. I think I'll bring my headphones.
Also, as Dean has made mention, a few of us zoo nuts are planning to go to Taronga Zoo on Sunday morning. If anyone else is interested you're welcome to join us.

Send me an email - at the correct address for this - telling me what you want to do, noting that the minimeet is booked, and Centenial Park cancelled due to lack of interest. it might make things very easy if you do the Lavender bay activity; we can collect both of you at the hairyport and drop you in town together, relocating your luggage (afterwards) to Birdy's. Nicole, I'm in for the Zoo but you probably already know that
But will they let you out?

I'm sure you could fit one more into the minimeet. It's not like the entire New Zealand Rugby team is accompanying me or anything.
Oh and that kind of sucks, because I read the first section of the post and all the activities when it was originally posted but didn't read the bit at the bottom about reserving places .

That is Birdy's call. We have about 14 down, plus a host of others who will be there during the afternoon. My guess is well over 25, which is starting to get cosy, no matter which way you cut the cloth.

kipper,
Apart from 15 registered + 10 members within the organizer, and we have to provide some other services as snack, foods & drinks + very short hour to the main dinner on Saturday so I don't think I can take more in.

There's no such entity as D70users.com? I'll sue you guys for not having an entity to sue!
Anyways, Gary - have you guys secured a model for sunday's portrait shoot? If she's not a looker, I'm keen to join the mexicans for Taronga Zoo - if that's alright with Dean, Nicole, Darryl, et al.

Dean I beg to differ. Uncle Stark will not get grumpy - he IS grumpy all the time (except just before he goes to bed, when he's Sleepy, and after he's in bed when he's Happy and... )

If it's not too late, I'd like to join a few of you guys at Taronga zoo on sunday.. should be pretty good going with someone for a change.
I'll be driving though as I live on the north side. Let me know the details of when/where we're meeting.
Should be a lot of fun.

I'm trying to find out what is exact time for Saturday afternoon mini-meet. "Afternoon" is bit unclear for me. OK, let me put it this way - at what time gates are opened and at what time late visitors bounced?

Gary, you mention to bring an envelope to the dinners with the amount for the dinner and hand it to the receptionists.. Who's the receptionists, and are they aware that some people like myself have already handed both money's for both dinners to birddog?.. Eg. is there a register that says who's already paid?
Thanks

Birddog will be well aware of who has, and who hasn't paid.
The receptionists are mentioned, I think, in the note you've downloaded, but in case I'm wrong, they're the wonderful Mrs Matt K and the charming Mrs Birddog.

Geoff, neither of the receptionists are members but you will recognise them because they will have a small table where they will be asking for money, and a spreadsheet to mark paid on. At this point it looks like Philo & Tran who have done a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes. Feel free to bring them a small present each.

Geoff,
So simple, just make another payment if asked by them and it's reserved for next year events same time in August.

I've worked out where Mancinis is now and looks like I can get a short cab ride from the station.
What does the money include then on the Saturday night dinner?

10 or 15 minutes walk from the station, why do you need a cab for?

Hi
this is great, can't wait to meet the rest of the bunch
I will be at the saturday night dinner around 7:00 to 7:30pm I am coming from Paddington.
Will that timeframe be an issue, will the doors close, miss any speeches?

7:30pm will be finished, all will be gone by that time
Technically, you told me you be here last week at the mini meets, few guys were waiting for you, and want to talk to you about the 80-400VR.
But bad luck! you didn't come, so sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
