Each week, one of the moderators or administrators selects an image that, for whatever reason, catches their eye. Please feel free to add your comments here. Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

The Picture of the Week this week is from Stubbsy. This one struck me as soon as I saw it, and each subsequent viewing just reinforced my first impression - a beautifully seen study of shapes and lines, expertly captured and processed. The B&W treatment complements the image and highlights the range of geometry within the frame. Actually, the colour version is a treat too. You can see it HEREWith colours like those, I probably wouldn't have thought of going B&W, but I guess that is all a part of why Peter has produced this week's PotW. He did think of it. Outstanding. Wow thanks for choosing my image Greg and to the others for your kind words This is my second POTW this year and both have been black and whites (the other was my SOH image on 16/4) maybe I should just give up on those colour photos
