POTW 16th July

Each week, one of the moderators or administrators selects an image that, for whatever reason, catches their eye. Please feel free to add your comments here. Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

POTW 16th July

My choice for POTW on this fine week is a reworked image from MattK, it's a great image that appears to have stood the test of time, I would have liked to see a pano crop removing some of the top, however I can still appreciate it as it stands. The enormity of the cloud, the glacier like location and finally the contrasty nature of image all make it a fine winner in my eyes.

Great shot Mattk and and nicely processed.
