This week's Picture of the Week was a no brainer for me, and I'm sure the majority of the forum will agree that this was a very easy choice! I think out of all the POTW's this one stands out in the crowd. Scott's image of 'TTL' is amazing in so many respects. Here are some of the reasons why I love it:
1. Simple yet so effective!
2. Timeless - this photo will look great in 200 years time, as good as it does today (not that we'll be here to know!)
3. The clarity of the image is amazing, clear, sharp and vibrant!
4. The concept is very much from a different perspective, lucky for rokkstar that comp is well and truely over.
5. I am a bit biased towards portrait/kid shots as I have a few nieces and nephews of my own, I also love the 50mm 1.4 lens.
6. Limited/no post processing!!!
For anyone that missed the thread (heaven forbid!!) it can be found here: http://www.d70users.net/viewtopic.php?t=6900
And here is the amazing shot, by Scott! Congratulations mate, I think this could make it into a final selection of a photo of the year comp. I am truely very impressed!

Well chosen Geoff, and well done and congratulations, Scott.
I must say that I'm continually amazed at the quality, and the variety, of the images that everybody here posts.

Scott
Congrats. Like many here, when I first saw this I thought I'd be seeing it again as POTW. A deserving choice.

That one is gold Scott, a great and deserving PotW.
Well done Geoff, maintaining our excellent record of selections for PotW is made easy by the
outstanding level of work we see here. (Except when Leigh can't decide between several
candidates )

wow... Thanks heaps for all the kind words!
Now for the lesson: I casually snapped this image while sitting on the couch as an experiment... I got busy doing other things soon afterwards...
Forgot about it for a few days... Lucky I casually went through and did some PPing...
Moral: Never reject an image!

Really quite impressive, Scott.
I missed this one first time around and I'm glad Geoff brought it to my attention through his PotW choice.
It really is worth looking at again and again.
To quote the Darth man, "Impressive. Most impressive."
