PotW 11 December 2007

Each week, one of the moderators or administrators selects an image that, for whatever reason, catches their eye. Please feel free to add your comments here. Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

PotW 11 December 2007

Postby the foto fanatic on Tue Dec 11, 2007 9:12 am

This week's PotW is actually three images.

It is the series from NJ called "Parliament Station", originally posted here.

I like all three because of their life in a modern city theme, their cool tones and futuristic feel, and I believe that they work very well in combination. I do though, especially like #1, where you seem to observe all these people unhappily descending into some sort of virtual hell. Who knows, maybe it is a real hell they're heading to.

Congratulations NJ for this fine work.

Here are the three images again.

I can't help but notice the amount of stainless steel in these, very striking photographs.

Nice trio, and well deserved POTW, congrats.
