Firstly, on behalf of the DSLRUsers.com Team, I would to thank Andre (radar) for his contribution as Guest Selector this week. To start off, I really enjoyed Ian's Chicken Portraits; they were very cleverly done. viewtopic.php?f=18&t=40748Next up was Geoff M's Roses are Red photos. I particularly loved the second one in the series. It has a dark side to it but that is what makes it for me, it is a very different take on such a beautiful flower, viewtopic.php?f=18&t=40816Colin_12's mushrooms in Cool wet week makes for Fungi had some beautiful and unusual mushrooms. The first one works great. With it's nice colours, shallow depth of field, it almost looks as if the blue mushroom is suspended there, like a jellyfish underwater. viewtopic.php?f=18&t=40817But overall, Alan's, aka Raskill, Formula 1 @ Mt Panorama photos were awesome. It was hard to pick one but I found that his first one with the fish eye was wonderfully executed. He had the vision, he got the gear ready, waited and then nailed it. Helicopter was a bonus. Well done Alan. Link to thread: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=40807

This is not only a great POTW - it really highlights just how far Alan has come with his motorsport photography - a journey I've been honoured to have watched.
