POTW for 30th Aug., 2011...Guest selector

On behalf of the DSLRUsers.com Team I would like the thank Geoff (Geoff M) for his contribution this week.

This is my first time as guest selector on the forum and my first thought when I received the invitation , but after accepting and reviewing the posts over the past week I quite enjoyed the task

After reviewing the image posts on a number of occasions, each time I have come back to the same two final images and it has been a close call as to which one received my nomination for this weeks POTW.

There of course can only be one POTW, so I would like to give mention of the runner up on this occasion which is an image posted by Remorhaz and that image is the second in this thread

So without further ado, the award for POTW on this occasion therefore goes to Wink for the image titled 'A Sunday Drive'. What gave it the edge over Remorhaz's image for me was the quirky composition and the fact that the capture process conjours up all sorts of images in my mind!
