Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. Fistly, I would like to apologise for the lateness in posting 'POTW'...so busy, busy I have selected this image from Geoff M of two (2) juvenile Tawny Frogmouth's due to the fact that the photographer was at work, with his camera, and seized the opportunity to shoot the subjects with the expression of...here's looking at you buddy. Congratulations Geoff Original thread: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=41820 Also on behalf of the DSLRUsers Team, I would like to extend to everyone a 'Happy New Year' for 2012.

It's the eyes that make this shot. Well done!

Absolutely. So often shots of these fascinating birds they're eyes are lost in the camouflage. Congratulations Geoff - this is a fine image.
