PotW 11 September 2012

Postby the foto fanatic on Tue Sep 11, 2012 10:34 am

I spent some time working through the images posted here over the last little while with nothing particularly grabbing me.

Then I found this photo of Gerry's hidden at the bottom of a post. Straight away I was drawn into a "man vs the elements" scenario.
There's just enough post work to make this image stand out, and the small human figure seems to be dwarfed by the elements of sea, sky and rock.
I like it a lot.

Kudos to Gerry for such an evocative image. Here is the original post:

Thats it, and with a 20 second timer delay and there you have it - although if ya know of a tripod that is capable of taking pictures for me let me know, that would certainly swing me to upgrade :)

The decent thing for your tripod to do would be creating its own DSLRUsers account. ;)

Well done. I'll have to stop rubbishing that tripod now.
