POTW-16-01-13There are so many excellent images to choose from....including black and white street shots that deserve more recognition. But this week I am giving the blue ribbon to a landscape that I just can't keep taking my eyes off. This image totally enchants me! Well done Craig!

Re: POTW-16-01-13That is a great shot. A great feeling of space, with some nice detail.
I don't recall seeing this. I'm sure I would remember. Do you have a link to the original post? Daniel
Re: POTW-16-01-13Nice!
I hadn't come across this one either until now. Edit: Found it in the Fifty Two Frames - Week 50 (09-15/12/2012) thread... viewtopic.php?f=73&t=43215#p449077

Re: POTW-16-01-13Indeed, it's a great shot.
Is this called a Chorus of approval?

Re: POTW-16-01-13Wow, what a surprise, thank you everyone. I took this photo after being approached by a person at work who is looking to purchase a large canvas print of the Glass House Mountains. I have several shots of the mountains from different vantage points that I have taken over the last few years but none from this location so I thought I would get a 'prove of location' shot one morning to see if he liked the view. Whilst the weather was clear and the light fantastic there was a heavy some haze from bush fires to the north of Noosa so when processing I added an orange filter to the sky to make it a little more appealing.
It is a 7 shot hand held pano stitched in Autopano Giga, filter applied in PSCS4 and final tweeks in Lightroom4. I have given the potential purchaser about six shots to choose from and he expects to decide his choice, more likely his wifes, choice sometime in the next six weeks. No all I need to do is get some more printing costs and decide what to charge. Thanks again.
