Each week, one of the moderators or administrators selects an image that, for whatever reason, catches their eye. Please feel free to add your comments here. Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

Congrads to Ozi for accepting the 400th selection of POTW in DSLRUsers land. I have chosen image #3 as POTW:
All these photos are pleasant to the eye, however I believe that #3 is far better compositionally. Numbers 1,2, and 4 each feature a stainless steel railing. I have nothing against these things and have no wish to rail against railings, but there is a distracting background competing with each shot of the railing. #3 is a different. The green tinge on the rocks, and the longish exposure on the water make for a great photo. Well done Cameron.

Thanks Ozi, and a big thanks to Gerry (for not posting anything). It's always nice to be on this side of POTW, and not picking it.

Nice one Cameron. I had a feeling that I missed some nice vistas that morning by sleeping in.

Indeed an excellent choice by Ozi of Cameron’s landscape still life that is beyond superlatives
