Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. This weeks POTW is brought to you by the enigma..i mean zafra's Nice choices Zafra and I like you writeup, thanks for taking the time! (note i added the pictures in there and taken the first as your primary selection) There haven't been a lot of postings this week. But, two photos stuck I my head for very different reasons. The first one is Trout3 by Ozimax. I like all of them, what I like of this particular photo is the unusual angle or framing of the subject, the concentration of the subject on his activity is very well captured, the absence of colour distraction adds to the scene and finally it tells a story well. viewtopic.php?f=18&t=44241&start=455418#p455418Trout3 by Ozimax, on Flickr The next picture I would like to pick is by Matt's Have you been waiting long? I like the simplicity of this photo, The colours adds to the photo, shallow depth of focus used to keep the viewers attention focused on the subject - a full dirty ashtray. In my case, it produced revulsion and a mental image difficult to scape. It brought memories of when I smoked and made me think how awful must have been for those around me. This photo also tells a story well and also produces an emotion in the viewer. viewtopic.php?f=18&t=44238&start=455410#p455410My sincere congratulations to Matt and Ozimax.
again, nicely done zapper, i mean zafra

Nice choice(s), personally I preferred one of the other images in the series from Ozi but it's good to see another win from out of a Fuji :-)
