POTW 13-06-2017This engaging street portrait of 2 men is this weeks pick for POTW. TonyT has allowed the subjects to present themselves without any posing or props, and this is a tecnique that will always pay dividends in portraiture. The subjects themselves are intetesting enough and need no tricky composition or HD or other enhancements to get in the way. Eye contact is important and the character of the subjects is on display and adds to the images power. If I had one quibble it would be that bright area down the right hand side. I think it could have been cropped out or darkened down. I would liked to have seen more of the swastika at top left of image. Nice one Tony!

Thanks Matt, appreciate the comments, I never saw the swastika till you mention it. Its good to get the feedback, as sometimes you so caught up in the image you do not see it clearly.
Re: POTW 13-06-2017Nice candid and good choice for POTW.

Re: POTW 13-06-2017Excellent choice and excellent photograph.
Re: POTW 13-06-2017that swastika adds another element which changes the entire image, i think by clone/cropping out or including more you have two completely different images. (i like it in btw)

No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.
