This will be the next purchase.

I am really loving the reviews from the Voigtlander M mount lenses, anyone have personal experience with the 35mm f1.2, 40mm f1.4 or the 50mm f1.5?

I have owned and used the 50mm Nokton F1.5, besides its large size it is a nice performer (sharp, sharp, sharp wide open). I ended up selling this though, and getting a 50mm Summicron for the smaller size, better build quality and less modern look (lower contrast, smoother out of focus elements).

For the price, the Voigtlander lenses are really quiet superb.

The 50mm Nokton is f1.1 isnt it? We have the 40mm f/1.4, 50mm f/1.1 in store at the moment and maybe a 35mm f/1.4.

I cant say I have played with any of these that much, but a good customer loves his 50mm f/1.1. There is also the ZM 50mm f/1.5 as well, a much smaller lens

I own the Voigtlander 40mm f1.4 nokton classic and it's a nice piece of gl(ass). The only complaint I have with voigtlander lenses is that the focusing is tighter than the leica, not too tight, but enough to notice teh difference. Guess Voigtlander doesn't have German men twisting the lenses to make sure they're smooth :rotfl2:

Perhaps consider this model

You have pulled the spec on the rare 0.85 rangefinder version. In some ways focusing a fast lens on one of these is easier than on a SLR. But if you are like me and dislike rangefinder's you will find it difficult.
