So hello everyone. Shame all the nice autumn colours have given way to the dreary dullness of winter int he past few weeks.

Welcome Willy. I especially like the first shot - simple but effective. I agree with John - the 2nd shot is way too dark, but the subject holds lots of promise - maybe it can be rescued in PS.
And, BTW, that's not a wombat

Hello Willy,
how are you going ?
It seems that the Canberra D70 users are on the increase.
Welcome to the club.
I'm looking forward to your posts and hopefully we will be able to meet sometime soon.
The last meeting was a disaster.
It was a single very brave person (Canon owner) event and no D70 user showed up ! I whimped out ... (shame ...)
Regards,
CD

G'day,
Not from "up there" but liked these images especially the second, beautiful soft, subdued colours...
Cheers.

Hello back to my fellow Canberra-ites
I look forward to meeting up with you all at the next d70 meet. Wont we all look like nerds with our matching gear. We will have to throw in a few 20D's to make a mix.
And dont worry a little bit of rain dosent scare me - i ride my bike to work. Cold enough for ya?
By the way - this is one of mine from last weekend

Greetings and welcome.
Your first shop makes me quiver in fear about the prospect of having to rake all those leaves up.
