Willy Wonka (?) came by the hotel the other night to meet me and take me out for a drink and some photo talk. While he was fondling my lenses we decided to go to the lake and shoot the sunset, then up to the hills to shoot the city, and then out to eat. A wonderful evening and one of the real highlights of my trip.

If you want to shoot Canberra or its surrounds, team up with this guy. The treatment is first rate and good photo ops are gaurenteed.

Was great to meet you Mike. I certainly enjoyed checking out your impressive kit and the 150mm Sigma macro made me drool. Did you get to the botanical gardens? Was it good? Post up some of your results when you get back to the USA
