They had very good things to say. I wonder whether they are slightly biased.

Time will tell. The biggest question mark for me was the focussing issue, after the Mkiii problems. There doesn't seem to be any major drama at this early stage with the 7D.

As for me, it would be nice to upgrade but I think my 40D is doing a fine job, so it will stay in the bag. When a 5D Mkiii, (full frame with 7-8fps and an espresso maker) comes along, then I'll reconsider things.
