In the 30D, does anyone know how to embed their name in their photos' digital signature? I don't mean in the actual photo but in the digital details?

cheers

Phil, you have to set that up with the Canon software that came with your camera, connect camera to computer, run software and then you can edit your name to appear in the exif file of all your photos and chose the file naming convention as well whilst you are there..

Thanks Big V,

Also when I went into the sogtware to do this I noticed that you can also set the owners name...so that the name will appear in the details section when using zoombrowser ex (doesn't seem to provide owners name function when viewing details in Window).

cheers

Note that Photoshop will pick up the Canon "Owner Name" and use it for the Creator tag. Very useful!
