If you are genuinely interested in the lens, I have one that came with my 300D that I am happy to sell you! PM me if your interested, I guarantee that it won't be expensive!

This lens is a classic example of "you get what you pay for". It is not an expensive lens, and is not the sharpest lens on the market. Having said that, if you only want it for the occasional shot at the longer end of the zoom range, it is quite satisfactory. I replaced it because I do a considerable amount of shooting at the 200mm end, and wanted something of better quality.

If you are interested in some shots taken with the lens, then I have some at http://photos.ozonejunkie.com/v/occasions/vp/.

Cheers,
Tristan
