Anyone a CPS?

Is anyone a CPS member? (Canon Professional Services)

You need firstly:
* to be a professional photog (full time)
* to own 2 pro bodies + 3 L lenses / specialist EF lenses

then you need to apply with
* samples of portfolio
* samples of business publicity (business cards etc)
* passport photos, application form + proof of above equipment criteria

benefits include

# Priority Equipment Servicing through Canon Service centres
# Service Replacement Loans**
# Event Support for accredited photographers
# Technical Support
# Professional Equipment Hire Service**
# Pre-Purchase Product Evaluation**
# Service Discounts and Special Offers
# Regular Communication including the Latest Product Information updates
# Full access to the CPS website

of particular is priority servicing, pre-purchase product evaluation (pre-load of MK III :) ) and event support.

My mate shoots with the big guns 400/2.8 etc and is a CPS, he doesnt have the grief that another photog I know has had in getting his 5D fixed by canon.

(now all I need is 2 more L lenses... :D )

Our studio is a CPS..the service is actually really good, other than some of their knowlegde about their products!

We've borrowed an 85mm 1.2 and a tilt-shift lens from them in the last year to trial them in our workflow and they were super helpful. Also, as has been mentioned in a couple of other threads, they did a tour of Adelaide with an EOS 1d MkIII and let us all play with it!

You would think so, but apparently a few guys have snuck in with lesser bodies - in fact I think one guy managed to argue his way in with a 350D!
