I am looking at purchasing a second card for my 400D and so far the first place I tried was Photo Continental, and they are all out of stock. Can anyone suggest places I could try that will be reasonable in price?

I don't use CF Cards, based on the general competitiveness of their SD Card pricing, I'd recommend JB HiFi, Strathfield Car Radios (I know!) or Officeworks.

No... it'll need CF cards... I was just talking about 'generally competitive retailers'.

The prices in our bargains section seem pretty good.

Your cheapest bet will be an online store... they seem to be way cheaper than any of the shops...at least around here anyways... I'll do a search and find the one I use if you want... I think I picked up a genuine snadisk ultra three 4 gig card for less than $100... and it was delivered 2 days later...
Are you short of memory for this weekend???... I can lend you a couple of 1 gig cards if you need them...

I've seen some very inexpensive cards around the traps - as in locally.
While Poon's prices are good, it's sometimes worthwhile to look locally, especially for these sorts of items, where price movements can be much more responsive.
