Then why does that precious piece of china get obscured by all the Canon gear...? Shouldn't it be at the front?

hey michael, im just with NRMA, portable specified valuable. I havent moved to AON.

Its another thing on my to-do list!

1D, yeah would be nice but mate I don't use the 5D that much at the moment. Can't justify the expense, if I make a few $ out of photography to make recoup the costs for a few lens I might look at upgrading to a 1D3 or some sorts...

cool, out of interest whats NRMA charging? do they cover the gear if you are using it for business use?

you dont need to justify buying a 1D :) you just do it :)

About $400 i think. Doesnt cover business, or lens scratching from memory...

Kris,

What values did you give NRMA? The purchace cost? RRP? or cost of a second hand replacement?

I'm also insured with NRMA and couldn't get it striaght from them what value I had to give them.

You have a nice collection there...

Curious as to why you don't have a normal zoom. I'm have a similar lineup as yours on a crop, wondering if I'll miss a normal zoom when I go full frame.

Cheers.

The 1Ds3 is out. :P

And you still need 24-70L and 24L to fill in the gaps. Or get the older 50L, the f1.0 one.
