A Nice Surprise - New toys!

I ordered a 50mm 1.4 from Gary a few days ago and it was delivered to my wife's work yesterday. (Thanks Gary!)

She brought the lens home - and a 40D!

That's great .. I usually get a angry look only when I order a new lens... not a new camera body to go with it.

Yes, the 40D is very nice to hold, good solid build as well. Although somehow I still prefer the build quality of the 5D, maybe it's just an illusion...

And I still have doubts about the on/off switch on the Canons, that's my biggest complain... :lol:

Yeah - although it's more the placement for me - It's in a "kind of" awkward spot.
