It's been a while since i posted some images here.

So here goes

Having owned a couple of 1Dmk3's for a while now, i'd have to say they are the best camera/lens/flash combo i've ever owned.

My fav shallow DoF lens is the 50mm f1.2. And for image sharpness I'd have to say the 200mm f1.8, although the 200mm f2.8 is heaps, heaps easier to use when under the gun.

cheers,

Very beautiful shots there mate.

When and where did you purchase the Mk3 and did you experience and of the famous AF issues?

Nice, great shots :)

The signature on the bottom right of #66 seems to blend a bit with the image in the bright area - or maybe it's my monitor :) but the shots are looking good. Different from what I'm used to seeing, like a bride on a motorbike, but cool!

Weddings aren't usually done in servo mode :)

Maybe he got one of the "blue dot" ones. They ones that have a blue dot on the box are the ones that have the AF issues fixed.

Very nice shots. My only comments regarding no 66 are:

1. The gate post (for want of a better description) is blocking out the bloke's head in the background.
2. The newish looking bike-chain securing the fence takes away a bit of the atmostphere of the shot, however, I appreciate the fact that you may not have been able to remove it.

I like the bride-on-bike shot very much.
