How's Your Spanish?

Postby Sheetshooter on Sat Aug 20, 2005 11:17 am

Here is a canon data Sheet in .pdf format for the new Canon EOS5D. The opening page is in Spanish (Portuguese, perhaps?).

http://alex.netfun.ro/Canon5D-specs.pdf PS: I am a tad sceptical given the name of the site - but it seems quite authoritatively presented.

So Chris,

Is it Spanish or Portuguese? And, hey, what the heck did you say?

Only Spanish I ever bothered to learn was Solera and Amontillado.

Cheers,

It is Spanish and besides ”what time is it?” I would not know, although you can understand many of the words if you can remember Benny Hill

I like Pedro Ximinez Alvear, and that's the total of my Spanish.

That's the one the DPReview crowd were going gaga over; on whether it's legit or a painstakingly made fake.

All the spanish I've learnt, came from Enrique Iglasias' album. ;) The one and only phrase I know off the top of my head:
'Lo que importa es que te quero.'

Which I duly ran through babelfish:

What matters is that quero you

I'll leave it others to work out how and when Chi uses that line
If I'm alone in a forest and my wife is not around to hear what I say, am I still wrong ??
