CF Ultra II or Extreme 3 - Opinions please

Postby imarine on Wed Sep 13, 2006 10:20 pm

I realise the Extreme 3 is the best, but realistically is the Ultra II good enough for use in the D70?

Ultra II is more than enough for a D70's write speed and buffet rate.

Extreme III + D70 will only make difference if you plug the card into a card reader to transfer back/from the PC. Or, you plan on getting a D200 (or better) anytime soon.

Thanks for the quick replies and precise answers. I'll go pick up the Ultra II 2GB card I had my eyes on tomorrow.

imarine this is the comparison site you should read. The Ultra 11 is a good card but you can probably do a lot better for the money for a D70

Be on a watch for fake Sandisk Cards...

Google on Fake sandisk CF cards and you should have enough information regarding it.

Good luck on your purchase :D

About the fake Sandisk cards, most of the local shops here shouldn't be selilng the fake cards, so it's safe to buy from them right? (and perhaps this peace comes with a premium $$)

Where do you intend to buy your cards? Online or at the shop?
