Blocking pop-up flash in commander modeHi,
This little device can prove useful to those that want to use the built in flash for commander mode but don't want the built in flash to affect the lighting. We had a situation like this at the recent lighting workshop. The SG-31R will block the pre-flash as well as the flash itself while still letting the IR signal through to trigger your sb800/sb600. Pretty cheap at $12USD, likely also available on ebay. http://www.adorama.com/INKSG31R.html If you have an old SU-4, you can modify the diffuser screen for it as they did below: http://www.bermangraphics.com/digicam/sg-2.htm HTH someone. Cheers, André Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution. Ansel Adams
