80-200 f2.8 older type I think? Will it fit an work on D50?Hi I would really appreciate some help please...
I have been offered an older (from what I can gather) nikon 80-200 F2.8 lense. I have not seen this as it belongs to a friend of mine that does not live in a days driving distance from me. He said it has Nikon Ed , Af nikkor, 80-200 F2.8 on the lens and is not sure how old it is. I have a D50 and am looking to purchase a D300 (once I've saved enough pennies) later in the year. Would this lens fit my D50 and the D300 And what would be a fair price for me to offer for it... if it is suitable? Oh an its said to be in great condition no moss no scratches ect. Thanks
Re: 80-200 f2.8 older type I think? Will it fit an work on D50?I fit it is the AF Zoom Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8 ED then it will work fine on both the Nikon D50 and the D300.
