Multipile FLASH on D100

Hi Guts, Can you help?
I have a D100 with a SB 50DX attached. I also have a SB24 that I want to use for multipile flash photgraphy. Question: Can I use the SU 4 unit on the SB24 (I do not have a SU 4 unit, but will buy one if it works) to achieve this?
Will I have to use SC cables? If so which ones?

I have been looking through my mauals but cannot sem to get an answer.

Hook them together using a flash sync triple nipple and or slave unit
