Nikkor 400 f3.5 ED AIS

Postby cameraguy21773 on Fri Jun 16, 2006 6:41 am

I just bought this lens as it was offered at a very attractive price. I would be interested to hear anyone's experiences with this lens and with any opinions about specific teleconverters that might be especially good with it. I understand the old TC-301 is quite good with this lens and a few have recommended the TC-14B. Any other thoughts?

Seems like a good catch. Both David Ruether and Bjørn Rørslett think highly of it. Apparently it's very good with the TC301.

Cheers
Steffen.
