D70s User Handbook?Hello,
Can anyone recommend a printed handbook, which is more detailed than the EOM book that came with my D70s? I find generally that the Nikon guide is a bit light on as far as examples and details goes. I am interested at this moment in light metering modes, and focus modes. Also intereted in ISO imapct on image. thanks Oz
have you tried the PDF version ? or searching for a PDF version. there are cheat sheets on the net, but i think you need to pay for the full versions. basically its a 1 page doc with what buttons to press to get a certain setting.
Also should add that Peter iNova books are very good, are interactive on disk and can be printed off. I have both and byThom is more discursive and probably stage 2 reading in your discovery of the D70. Only my opinion though, it depends on your learning style. Both are essential purchases I have found. After two years I still haven't reached every corner of what they cover.
In the end we know Nothing, but in the meantime Learn like crazy.

I second Dargan's suggestions: Peter iNova and Thom Hogan's ebooks.
Both are extremely comprehensive and covers pretty much everything that you would conceivably want to know; the former has more of a beginners approach to it - covering basic concepts of photography as well as camera specifics, and the latter IMO is more of an extension to the Nikon published manual. ie. when you've read the manual cover to cover and still yearn for more.
