VR on or off on a monopod

i have a Nikon 70-200vr(purchesed thru here ) as u all know lol
i also have a monopod i know on a tripod u dont have VR on
what is the thinking on a monopod is Vr a good idea

Depending on how steady you can hold the lens on the monopod. It is matter of personal choice I reckon.

Warren - I always shoot with VR off, on either tripod or monopod.
