Postby aussichef on Tue Dec 26, 2006 4:06 pm

I haver had my d80 for about a week sofar
And being a chef around xmas havent had much time with it

But today being Boxing day & haveing the day off all i have been doing today is watching the Boxing day cricket test & doing a few hundred test shots out my front door with the d80
i have found i have a slight color cast on alot of the shots
i have been eleminating most in nx with color balance
i am using normal settings in camera @ this stage
Is there a incamera way of eliminating this color cast ???

Yes a link to a shot, with EXIF intact, would help.

Are you using auto white-balance?
Check you don't have any WB compensation dialled in.

i think i have fixed the problem daniel
I had compensation dialed into auto WB i have dialed in a + now & its alot warmer shots
I have used a expodisk with the d50 & now the d80 dont often use auto or preset ie
fluro, daylight etc
So i am thinking this is the problem
will post a shot tomorrow night when i get home from work tourist season i accualy have 1/2 a day off next week or should i say this & next week
