Nikon View and D200

Postby Jeff on Mon Jan 08, 2007 9:43 pm

Hi
I'm still having trouble downloading the update of Nikon View to enable proper viewing of the Raw images from the D200. For those of you guys with the D200 what viewer do you use. I have been trying since just after Christmas but after downloading cannot seem to be able to open the file with winzip.
So any advice on another viewer would be good.

Hi Matt,
What version of Nikon view do you have and what/where (exactly) are you trying to d/load it from. Remember there have been some internet problems with cables due to natural disasters in the asia region that may be playing havoc with you.

Matt,

Have you tried downloading from the Nikon USA site? I think they're all the same (uses American English spelling if ever the difference).

Thanks guys
I have finally be able to download the update, after at least 12 attempts.
I believe that the downloads are region specific and you cannot succesfully download except from Asia(according to Nikon Aust.).

Thanks for your assistance.
