Tokina 50-135 f2.8

hey there everyone, has anyone had any experience with this lens? im looking for a tele lens and have also been looking at the sigma 50-150mm. although i have heard the sigma isnt to good past 135mm. as i am too poor for nikon glass i am checking out other options! any advice would be appreciated :D

David, another option might be the Sigma 150mm f2.8 macro lens. It's a pretty decent 150mm telephoto and doubles as a macro lens as well. I have this lens and am very happy with it.

I haven't had any experience with the lens, but you should consider 2nd hand glass. A few people here only have 2nd hand glass in their kit bags, or large portions of their kit and 2nd, 3rd hand etc. You can save a pretty penny by scouting around and not buying new.
