D70 and 8Gb CFs ?

Do you know if D70 with the latest firmware can support 8Gb (or larger) CompactFlash cards?
Support means "format this card, save and view images". Official manual doesn't say anything about cards more that 4Gb. Tried to search in Google - nothing was found.

I use a sandisk 8gb card in my d70 without problem. I have formatted it and I think it sees all the memory in the card, but I have not filled it with images so I cannot be 100% certain. It does work though.

Do you remember how many images it shows on freshly formatted 8Gb card?

1,400 images. Yes it works perfectly.
